The Indian Youth icon awards were designed to recognise achievements by
individuals in various fields like entertainment, media, social welfare
and justice, technology, business and sports. Hrithik Roshan and
Priyanka Chopra were honoured with the Indian Youth Icon of the Year
award for their contribution in the field of entertainment at a
function in Gurgaon.
Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was given Icon of the Year award. while Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was declared as the youth icon in the field of politics.
Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was honoured as the Global Face of the Year and Deepika Padukone with the Fashion Icon of the year accolade.
