The film ‘Vinayakudu’ was a major success and this has led to the sequel of the film ‘Village Lo Vinayakudu’. The expectations are obviously high on this one and whether they have been met or not, let us see.
Story:
Set on the backdrop of a village, the story is about Karthik (Krishnudu) a teacher in Hyderabad and it is love at first sight for him when he sees Kavya (Saranya) a doctor. She lives with her father Colonel Laxmipathi (Rao Ramesh), an ex-serviceman at their village and one day Karthik lands at their door confessing his love and asking for Kavya’s hand. Her father strictly retaliates and from then on, Karthik begins his efforts to win the hearts of Kavya’s father and her family. Meanwhile Col Laxmipathi’s friend (Yandamoori Veerendranath) makes attempts to separate Karthik from Kavya. Is he successful or not forms the rest.

Yet again, he has come up with a good performance and not many challenges for him in this one. He has done his best in carrying the film on his shoulders throughout and did a fairly good job. His body language and few dialogues bring smiles and make him look much cuter and perfect.
Saranya Mohan
She is looking sweet and her performance is also good. She has got wonderful photogenic features and for the role she suited best. She certainly loots many hearts with her cute expressions and naughty smiles.
Rao Ramesh
He has done justice to the role and has come up with some highlight dialogues and catchy scenes. This is a different character he has done unlike his earlier movies and he makes his presence felt. He is trying to imitate Prakash Raj knowingly or unknowingly in some scenes and that should be avoided.
Yendamuri Veerendranath
He has given few stiff expressions in front of the camera. But his character is interesting although little.
Bharat Reddy
Though he had a brief presence, he gave his best shot and there are few places where he made his presence felt very well.

Analysis:
This is the sincere attempt by the director, and he scores good encomiums from all sectors of audiences. He has knitted the movie with all dexterities that a hero should possess. It is an eye opener for many directors those are showing heroes as smugglers, professional killers, thieves and robbers. The film condemns ‘ridiculing mythology’ which should be underlined. That’s a good lesson.
It is the effort that really appeals as it is made with honesty and sincerity. The film is a clean flick and it has enough ingredients to appeal to the family audience but then it doesn’t have that sort of momentum and pace.
There are no idle moments due to its good presentation. Background score was ok, songs were worth, picturization was top notch. While the first half is quite mild, it is not until the second half that the real tempo begins. Overall, the film is good in parts but could have been better. So it can be appreciated for its efforts than anything else.

Though it has been a while since he has lost the tag of ‘man with the golden hand’, Dil Raju is one man who has not stopped from coming up with ambitious ventures. Right now, he is busy with the Rs 30 crores extravaganza with NTR junior and director Vamsi Paidipalli.

However, the news that has brought Dil Raju into spotlight is the buzz that he has finalized another project. This one will have prince Mahesh Babu in the lead and it will be directed by none other than the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli. And here is the best part.

Sources say that Raju is spending a whopping Rs 50 crores for this big budget extravaganza and this one is slated to be a never before seen movie in the history of Tollywood. The combo is super and filmnagar folks say that this has ‘blockbuster’ written all over it. Let us see how this goes…

Eenadu-star Venkatesh's Namo Venkatesha's shooting is proceeding at a brisk pace in Hyderabad's Sarathi Studios, where a special set has been erected for the film.

The film, which also stars Trisha, is directed by Sreenu Vaitla, on a high since the success of Dhee and Ready. Rumouredly, Venkatesh is playing a ventriloquist in the romantic drama that is produced by Achanta Gopinath and Achanta Ramu.

The pair (Venkatesh and Trisha) were last seen in 'Adavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule'.

For all those fans of the thunder thigh beauty Rambha who have been missing her, this one should come as good news. The buzz is that she has been roped in by a Canada based company named Magicwoods to be the brand ambassador for their products which would be launched in India soon.

The makers of Villagelo Vinayakudu have planned a premiere tonight at Big Cinemas-9:45 pm. Surprisingly, all the screens were booked by the producer of the film. The money raised through this premiere will be donated to a social cause. Popular channel Tv 9 would be telecasting this event. The film is already said to be made table profits. This is also the low budget film of the year, which is made with a budget around Rs.1.5 crores. Villagelo Vinayakudu has created another record by associating with almost 10 media partners like Kalamandir, Reliance, Future Generali and others. The audio album is the single largest selling album of the year.

Suresh Movies Film Distribution house owned by D.Suresh Babu is releasing this movie all over AP. Varun Sandesh's father, Vijay Saradhi Jeedigunta, has bagged the distribution rights of the film in USA.

The regular shooting of Jr.NTR film Brindavanam will commence from November.Trisha is paired opposite Jr.NTR in the film. The film is produced by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. This film is being directed by Vamsi Paidpally of Munna fame. Special attraction in the film is going to be a remix song of an old hit number of Sr.NTR "Brinadavanamadi andariki Govindudu andhari vade le.....". Thaman is scoring music for this movie and 5 songs have already been finalized. Chota K.Naidu handles cinematography. The film is slated to release on April, 2010.

Meanwhile, Jr.NTR's upcoming film Adurs is scheduled to release on December 18th.

The shooting of Venkatesh's upcoming film Namo Venkatesa is currently going on in a special erected set at Saradhi Studios. Trisha is playing the second female lead. Ram Charan and Kajal starrer Magadheera is all set to create new records in 100 days centers. The film directed by tough task maker S S Rajamouli is the talk of the town from the time of its making. Magadheera is gearing up to complete 100 days in 220 centers surpassing Mahesh Babu starrer Pokiri record of 100 days in 200 centers. The film has successfully completed 50 days run in 301 centers. This is the highest so far for any South Indian film.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is the Brand Ambassador of Chennai-based mobile retail chain, UniverCell.

UniverCell will be opening 700 stores across the country in the next two years. The expansion is in line with the increasing mobile subscriber base and the likely entry of six new players into the Indian mobile services market including Datacom, Etihad, Loop, Telenor, Swan and Loop, which are expected to commence operations in the country pretty soon.

UniverCell, which currently has 300 company-owned stores across the four southern states including 70 in Andhra Pradesh, is trying to touch 400 stores by March 2010 through the franchisee mode. This expansion will also see our foray into east and north Indian markets by the end of next quarter.

Stating that Andhra Pradesh, which sees a net addition of 1.5 million mobile connections every month, is a major market for UniverCell. The company intended to open 100 more stores in the state in the next one year.

The audio launch of Allu Arjun's upcoming film Aarya 2 was held in Rock Heights, Madhapur. Prabhas, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, Dil Raju, Nagababu, KL Narayana, Srinu Vytla, Meher Ramesh, Krish, Varun Sandesh, Allu Sirish, Navdeep, Gunnam Gangaraju, Gemini Kiran, RD Rajasekhar, and Aryan Rajesh were some of the film celebrities who graced the event.

"Sukumar is known for his uncompromising nature. Already the audio has been leaked and got tremendous response," said VV Vinayak.

"I got frightened when I saw Aarya. Sukumar was the only director to do that. He is a top class technician who can take cinema to the next level. How is it possible for Devi to deliver instant hit albums with each and every movie. Ringa Ringa song will top the chartbuster for entire next year," said Rajamouli.

"I like Bunny a lot. I also came to Aarya audio launch and said to Dil Raju that it will become a Blockbuster. I hope that this film will become even bigger hit than Aarya. Kajal is a hard worker. Both of us have worked for Darling for 20 days," said Prabhas.

"Aarya 2 is very close to my heart and we had a great time working for this film. We worked extremely hard for this film," said Kajal.

"Every film has a core team. For Aarya 2, there are five people in that core team including me. Producer Bhogavalli Prasad, Sukumar, Devi Sri Prasad, RD Rajasekhar and me are the members of this team. Without them this film would not have happened. I thank each and every person who worked for this film," said Allu Arjun.

"VV Vinayak supported me a lot from the time when I'm working as an assistant director. After the disaster of Jagadam, Rajamouli advised me not to change my style of film making. He said that he liked the film a lot. Bunny supported me a lot. He has given his nod to the project even before listening to the story. He used to be in regular touch with me. He only said that we are doing a film after the failure of Jagadam. If I'm not there Aarya could not have happened. But, without Bunny Aarya 2 could not have happened," said Sukumar.

The actress, who was informed by a friend about her fake profile on the social networking site. "Just wanted to see for myself that someone was impersonating me! Film production company Lakshmi Ganapati Films is dubbing the film into telugu with same title 2012 with a tag line Yugantham.

Several experts from across the globe are predicting that the earth is likely to end by the year 2012. The first to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a bloodthirsty race that were good at two things - building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and sacrificing virgins.

Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days. The Mayan calendar predicts that the earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it's likely they've got the end of the world right as well.
