The petite beauty Trisha's Bollywood debut flick Khatta Meeta, is said
to be a remake of a popular Malayalam film of 1990's Vellanakalude
Nadu. Mohanlal and Shobana played the lead roles in the original
version.While, Akshay Kumar and Trisha are doing the lead roles in
current version. National Award winning director Priyadarshan is
directing this film. It is said that Priyadarshan has made some changes
to the original script to suit the present day audience.
