What’s Superstar’s birthday plan?

Rajinikanthss birthday is a very special day for his fans. Though Superstar usually plans to spend his birthday quietly, his admirers plan festivities in India and abroad. Especially his fan clubs will celebrate the day by distributing sweets, performing special prayers at temples and undertaking various humanitarian activities.

And this years big day is less than a month away. Sources close to the star say that he will be spending his birthday on sets of Shankars Endhiran. That too not in Chennai! When all expected Rajini to be here this year, its heard that he will be in Pune for his sci-fi project.

Last year too Rajini was engaged in what he likes the most on his birthday- acting! Rajinikanth was in Hyderabad to take part in the shooting of his animation movie 'Sultan: The Warrior', being directed by his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth.

What’s brewing between Vikam-Rajamouli?

While Chiyaan Vikram was busy in Ladak shooting for his upcoming venture with Selvaraghavan, Tollywood director Rajamouli had met him. We hear that this meeting was to discuss on a new project.

Sources close to Selvaraghavans circuit said that the Rajamouli was in Ladak to narrate the script of the bilingual project. The project is likely to take off by the month of July next year.

Rajamouli was in Ladak for 2 days and had spent time with Vikram as per his invite. So, its a sure news that Vikarm is acting in a Telugu film by 2010. Moreover, we hear that Vikarm will be acting in Siddiques direction after he finishes his work with Vikram K Kumar.

Let bygones be bygones. Although its been a while now since we saw 2 or 3 Vikram movies a year, we have at last got some news. At this rate we all can expect 3 films in a year for Chiyaan.

Nag Chaitanyas film for Sankranthi

It is official that Nag Chaitanya's second film will be releasing for Sankranthi (January 2010). As is already known, the film marks the coming together of Telugu makers with a brilliant Tamil director. Produced by Manjula and Sanjay Swaroop and presented by Superstar Krishna, the film was tentatively titled Natho Raa but looks like it is not final.

On the occasion of Chaitanya's birthday on the 23rd of November, the producers released some stills to the media. It is a prestigious project not only for Manjula, who is producing a film after Pokiri, but also for the young star who needs to live up to the expectations of the audience.

It seems that it is a sensitive love story. In the words of its director Gautam Menon, this one is a beautiful love story. He also predicts that Nag will emerge as a bigger star in the coming days.

If you are a music lover, this one is to be watched out for. Because AR Rehman is scoring the tunes and the makers claim they have come out extraordinarily well.

Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao's moves are not easily predictable. His next film's title seems like the name of some NGO. Fresh, he has announced a film with 81 new artistes and the film is titled Young India. As the title indicates, the artistes are all young and notably, the girls are all from Andhra Pradesh. With this film, Dasari wants to tell his colleagues in the Telugu film industry that Telugu girls can also be roped in as female leads.

Produced by Siri India (Pvt) Ltd, the film is a message-oriented one and will be extensively shot in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Mumbai. Except for 5 days when Dasari will attend the Parliament sessions, the film will be shot at a stretch for 60 days.

Young India is the veteran's 149th film; so you can imagine the hype around it. Also, his staunch loyalist Dr. Mohan Babu has given the first clap, while Raviraja Pinishetty switched on.

A passionate speaker, Dasari was at it again to explain the rationale and idea behind Young India. "Human resources in India are being used by countries like the US and the UK. It is not just for employment but for directing the nation's future that the youth are. (I am trying to show) how the young India can become that direction in this film."

Producer Ramakrishna Prasad hopes that the film will be a trend-setter. Dasari, the multi-talented one is writing the story, dialogue and screenply too. M M Keeravani is the music director.

Mr.Perfect is a sensational film in my career:Mahesh Babu

Tough Task Maker Surender Reddy is all set to direct superstar MaheshBabu once again. This film is titled as Mr.Perfect. The duo has earlierworked for Athidi. Venkat, who made block buster film Kick is producingthis film under R R Movie Makers banner. The film is said to be bigbudgeted extravaganza which is planned with a woofing amount of Rs.40crores.

"I'm very much excited, after listening to the story. This will be another sensational film in my career," said Mahesh.

"I'm doing this film with a strong determination to deliver a super duper hit with Mahesh," said Surender Reddy.

"This film in the combination of Superstar Mahesh Babu and directorSurender Reddy is planned with a lavish budget of Rs.40 crores. Thisfilm will be made on a never-seen-before scale. This film will projectMahesh in a new dimension. The regular shooting of Mr.Perfect willcommence from June," producer Venkat.

‘Magadheera’ 100 Days @ Rs 3 Crores

The mega blockbuster Magadheera recently reached another milestone when it completed 100 days successfully. The film has created history not just in the Telugu circuit but throughout the nation given its genre and the visual impact. Now, another impact is likely from producer Allu Aravind.

There is news that Aravind and his team have decided that the 100 day celebration would be happening in a mind blowing manner. This time, the place would be Hyderabad and sources reveal that the event is being organized at a budget of a whopping Rs 3 crores.

The makers want to send another statement that no film would have celebrated their 100 day completion like this. So it could well be that Magadheera would be creating a new record there as well, given the budget and the grand plans for the event. The date has been set as December 19th.

‘Jr NTR Is Really Vara Putrudu’

This is the essence of the discussion that 2 producers and 2 technical experts had during their evening session at the film nagar club recently. Well, they were singing praises about the young tiger NTR junior and his overall presence. The talk covered many aspects like the way he carries himself, his talk etc.

The producers were heard saying that at such a young age, junior has developed great levels of maturity and wisdom. The way he relates to others and his power of effective communication is something of the Ivy League, they add.

They commented that NTR is a gifted prodigy and his down to earth attitude and his presence of mind at various situations has been quite impressive. Given his age, he doesnt show any impulses and has a very balanced approach towards everything, concluded one among the four. Well, that is a list of compliments for this young man.

One of the technical experts in that discussion said that Jr NTR is really a Vara Putrudu. He said that he has been working for Adurs and ever seen such a gifted actor in his 2 decade career.

Soundarya Rajnikanth film with Nayantara and Simbu

The breakup pair Nayantara and Simbu will be making a special appearance in a film titled as Goa. Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth is producing this film. However, both these ex lovers will not share the screen space together. Nayantara and Simbu's call sheets have been obtained for different dates.

While the film itself boasts of a huge star cast, which includes Sneha, Piya, Jai, Vaibhav and Premji, the latest addition has raised the expectations even higher.

Rajnikanth Robot costliest Indian film ever made

The film Robot starring Superstar Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to become grand and entertaining film ever made in Indian cinema. Ayngaran International and Eros Multimedia combinely producing this film with a woofing amount of Rs.165 crores. Robot has become the costliest film ever made on Indian screen. Ace director Shankar is directing this film. Music of the film is by A.R.Rahman. Robot will be simultaneously released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and other languages.

Rajnikanth will be seen in 100 styles and Aishwarya will be seen in 57 styles for a single song in the movie. The very special song was shot at Ramoji Film city in Hyderabad on Rajni and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The unique song was choreographed by Prabhu deva and it took almost 22 days to complete.

The climax scenes are canned under the supervision of prominent Hollywood director George Lucas. Hollywood technicians have come down to work on the visual effects of this climax scene. The scene is Robot lab destroying in the fire. This scene with huge blazing fire all around will remain for 4 minutes on screen.

Srinu Vytla to direct Pawan Kalyan

Successful director Srinu Vytla is all set direct power star Pawan Kalyan in the near future. Srinu Vytla has prepared a script keeping Pawan Kalyan in mind. Currently the ground work for this film is going on. The film is said to be a romatic entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad composes music for this film. This super combination is for sure to create new records.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan upcoming film Komaram Puli shooting is nearing completion. This film is directed by S J Surya of Kushi fame. A London based model Nikisha Patel is the lead actress in this movie. Popular character artist Manoj Bajpai plays a pivotal role in this film. The film is produced by Singanamala Ramesh on Kanakaratna Movies banner. A R Rehman is composing music for this film. This movie is being made with a woofing amount of Rs.30 crores. Komaram Puli is slated to release in February.

Daggubati Rana rocks in Leader

Daggubati Rana (grandson of D Rama Naidu and son of D Suresh Babu), who is debuting as hero with the film Leader, has choosen a political drama which any debutant would hesitate to do.

"I don't think I can do it later in my career. This script caught my attention. It's about a young politician and the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh," says Rana.

Rana has all those striking looks required for a hero. The actor is quite excited about his debut film release and also says that he is open to do films in other languages as well.

"Cinema has no language and I'm looking forward to work in any language. After the release of Leader, I will choose my next script. Going by the recent youthful spurt in the industry including Shruti Haasan and Soundarya Rajnikanth, I think the industry is moving into the right hands," says the actor.

Rana says that he took the decision to turn as a hero only after discussing it with all his family members.

"It's a collective decision. Whatever my grandfather gets from cinema he reinvests in it and we've four studios. We constantly set benchmarks. We make it a point to be at every event, which promotes cinema," he says.

The audio launch of Leader is planned on a grand note on Sunday, November 22nd. Sekhar Kammula is directing this film. Priya Anand and Richa are doing female leads. Micky J Meyer composes music for this film. AVM productions is making the film. The film is scheduled to hit screens on December 24th.

I backstabbed NTR : Mohan Babu

Dialogue King Mohan Babu, who is known for his straight forwardness confessed that he betrayed late NTR for political gains in 1995. He described his act as a biggest mistake in his life.

Chandrababu Naidu had led a revolt against his father-in-law NTR to become thechief minister in August 1995 after Lakshmi Parvati, whom NTR marriedjust before the 1994 polls, was emerging as a power centre. NTR died ofcardiac arrest five months later.

TDP president N.Chandrababu Naidu, who backstabbed NTR is still banking heavily on his charisma to regain power. This can be called as politics without ethics!
